How to Decide upon a Career?

Hi Friends,

We all know how important is ,choosing the right career for our self .Hence this decision needs to be taken with utmost care & a good amount of thought process & planning needs to go into it.We need to remember , whatever we finalise today will most probably stay with us till our retirement age hence this decision becomes even more critical in our life.
Today's post is an endeavour to help all my readers in their decision making process at this vital stage in their life.

Questions that you need to ask yourself before choosing your career path …

Q1. What is my Interest?
An Ideal Answer should give you one of below mentioned information:

a) I would want to do a Job Your ,Or
b) I would want to run my own business , Or
c) I would want to be a freelancing professional (Any Specialisation)

Q2. What is my Goal?
Ideal Answer should give you one or more of below mentioned information:

a) I want to only focus on earning big money from wherever it comes. (Note: Everyone wants to earn money but career field also matters to some & some don’t care)
b) I want a reputed white collar Job.
c) I want to do something exciting & innovative.
d) I want to earn fame & money.
e) I want to work for a big brand.
f) I want to lead a simple satisfying life with less trouble & no running after money.

Q3. What are the resources I currently have?
Ideal Answer should give you the below mentioned information:

a) How much money can I invest initially, be it in studies/business etc.
b) How much time do I have at my disposal?
c) What is my current age?
d) What is my family background?

Once you have the answers to all the above three questions, is when you can proceed towards next step involving listing down your available career options.I will talk about the next step in my next post.Till then enjoy life ...& keep reading.
